FC Porto (basketball)

The FC Porto basketball team〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Information on FC Porto/Dragon Force team )〕 is the senior representative of the basketball section of FC Porto, a Portuguese sports club based in Porto. The team plays its home matches at the Dragão Caixa arena and is managed by Spanish coach Moncho López.
In 2012, the team was discontinued after losing the league title to Benfica in the last match of the playoff final at the Dragão Caixa, but restarted the next season in the third division under the name Dragon Force. The team secured promotion to the 2013–14 Proliga, which it won in a final against Illiabum. Having earned the right to compete in the top-tier Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol (LPB), the club decided to remain in the Proliga for the 2014–15 season. The team defended its Proliga title – conceding no defeat – and was promoted to the 2015–16 LPB, where it will compete again as FC Porto.
Porto are the second most successful team in Portuguese basketball history, having won eleven championships, thirteen Portuguese Cups, five Portuguese Supercups, six Portuguese League Cups, and one António Pratas Trophy.
